They’re made from a compostable natural coconut fibre (coir) bonded with a non toxic biodegradable natural latex adhesive and are suitable for use on most ‘non stick’ surfaces. They provide an excellent alternative to the usual green scratchy polyester scrub pads that take the non-stick coating off your pans. Directions for use:
Use in warm water with washing-up soap.
For best results pre-soak and remove baked-on food first.
To keep your safix pad fresh between uses, squeeze out any excess water, shake out any food particles and allow to dry naturally.
