Scrub your plates without hurting the planet!

Every time we wash-up with a polyester or plastic scrub pad, microplastic particles can break off and get washed down the sink, and then end up in our waterways and oceans harming the marine-life.  Safix Scrub Pads eliminate the risk of microplastics from polyester or plastic scrub pads entering our water systems thus helping us to stop adding to the plastic pollution problem.

They’re made from a compostable natural coconut fibre (coir) bonded with a non toxic biodegradable natural latex adhesive and are suitable for use on most ‘non stick’ surfaces.  They provide an excellent alternative to the usual green scratchy polyester scrub pads that take the non-stick coating off your pans.  Durable and safe for hands, nails, non stick pans and even for cleaning your carrots ready for Sunday dinner!

They won’t scratch your lovely shiny pans and Safix has provided economic empowerment via employment for hundreds of women in rural India who otherwise have little or no access to employment, education or healthcare.

It’s an eco-friendly win-win!
